Streamlining Rescue Operations with Pangel™: Ensuring Every Dog is Safe

Pet rescues have an important and admirable responsibility in our society. These selfless organizations provide a vital service by rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected, and abused animals, giving them a second chance at a happy life.

Medical care, rehabilitation, and behavioral training are often services provided by rescues to animals in need. They're involved in community outreach and education efforts and work to promote responsible pet ownership while advocating for animal welfare.

Pet rescues play a crucial role in improving the lives of animals and matching them with caring individuals or families!

Rescues are an essential component of animal safety and security, but what if a rescue could offer continued guidance and protection even after they've found a pet its forever home? It's possible with Pangel™.

Pangel™ is the pet safety app that protects pets when their owners can't. It's our goal to outfit all pet owners with the capability to ensure their pet's safety should an emergency keep them away from their beloved pet.

It's a tool that goes hand in hand with rescue efforts.

Pangel connects with rescues on a personal level, so we want to support and suggest our services to these noble organizations that protect pets.

Rescues Resonate With Us

Pangel™ supports rescues because we believe in the importance of animal welfare and the need to provide a helping hand to animals in need. We're passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of rescued animals and strive to contribute to creating a better world for them.

Our commitment to supporting rescues means actively raising awareness and encouraging rescue adoption every chance we get!

In fact, Pangel™ has structured its business model to award monetary support to rescue organizations and shelters that help decrease the number of animals left in shelters each year. At Pangel™, we're committed to philanthropy for rescue and adoption organizations, and we plan to continue to scale our donations to assist in supporting worthy rescues!

The Pangel™ family is a proud network of individuals who know personally the positive benefits of rescue adoption. The love for rescue animals was a catalyst for the creation of our innovative app, and it continues to inspire us to promote animal welfare!

How Pangel™ Helps: What We Offer Pet Parents

It's our mission to make sure that all pets thrive! We envision a world where no animal is in need of food or shelter, and they always receive appropriate care and lots of love.

Pets rely on us for their well-being, and it's important to make arrangements for their care if we are unable to be with them. But what about an unforeseen circumstance that keeps an owner from their pet? It may be easy to arrange for care due to a planned trip or late work night, but Pangel™ is there for pets when emergencies arise.

The Pangel™ pet safety app is designed to allow owners the capability to alert chosen pet guardians in their absence. Here's how it works:

  1. To begin, pet owners click the sign-up link and create their new account. They enter their name, email address, and mobile number. They'll receive a verification code to enter that will complete the sign-up process.

  2. Next, pet owners create a profile by answering questions about themselves, their pets, and their chosen guardians. It’s possible to add veterinarian information, pictures of pets, and more!

  3. It’s necessary to enable settings on a phone to allow notifications from Pangel. By enabling notifications, owners receive reminders to update their status on the app.

  4. Using the calendar icon, owners set up their daily schedule or schedule a departure in real time by selecting Leaving Now? button at the bottom right. Once they've returned home safely, all they need is to click the Reached button; if that button isn’t clicked within 90 minutes of the stated arrival time, the chosen pet guardian will receive an alert.

It's also possible to store other pertinent information in the app, such as pet preferences and vital veterinary information. It's a one-stop safety solution for pet owners!

Download the app today and discover how it's the right fit for rescue parents!

The Bottom Line: Keeping Pets Safe and Cared For

Pet ownership comes with a certain level of responsibility and commitment, and here at Pangel™, we're equipped to support and encourage all pet owners to be the best pet parents possible!

In addition to making use of the Pangel™ pet app, we also want all owners to be knowledgeable about pet safety basics.

When it comes to general pet safety, there are a few important things to keep in mind and pass on, especially to new pet owners:

1. Pet-proofing your home: Just like you would baby-proof a home, it's important to pet-proof it as well. This includes removing any toxic plants, securing cabinets containing household cleaners, and keeping small objects out of reach.

2. Identifying your pet: Make sure your pet is properly identified with a collar and tag. Microchipping is also a good idea in case your pet gets lost or has a tendency to stray. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), lost dogs with microchips are returned to their owners at a rate of 52.2%, compared with just 21.9% for those without. (1)

3. Safe containment: Whether indoors or outdoors, providing a secure and safe environment for your pet is essential. This might mean using a crate, baby gate, or a secure yard with a fence. Ensure that all egresses to your home are secure.

4. Watch what they eat: Many human foods are toxic to pets, so it's important to be mindful of what your pet has access to. Keep chocolate, grapes, onions, and other harmful foods out of reach.

5. Regular vet check-ups: Keeping up with vaccinations and regular vet check-ups can help ensure your pet's overall health and well-being.

6. Supervise around water: Just like with children, it's important always to supervise your pet around water to prevent accidental drowning.

7. Temperature control: Be mindful of extreme temperatures and make sure your pet has access to appropriate shelter, water, and cooling in hot weather, as well as warmth in cold weather.

Keeping these things in mind can help ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved pet. However, if you're ever facing a situation where you cannot care for your pet, then it's best to reach out to animal shelters, rescue organizations, or trusted individuals who can provide temporary or permanent care.

Owners and rescues can also rely onPangel™ to be their ally in pet protection. We exist to provide a wealth of information related to pet care and safety and offer you our innovative way to ensure a pet's ultimate protection at all times.
